Seeking counsel can be a difficult step. I am honored that you would consider allowing me to join you in your journey to wholeness. It is my hope that every client would be able to fully experience life. I believe that as individuals find healing and peace within their own spirits they will more effectively connect with others in their lives
I have seen the importance of family and the impact of relationship on daily life. We need each other. We find support and encouragement in community with others. When relationships are strong we can withstand even the most difficult of circumstances. From early childhood, I was taught the value of faith and its impact on the relationships closest to me. Walking through difficulties of my own has given me a compassion and desire to help others find healing for their own relationships. My personal faith has given me a perspective to help initiate growth and lasting change. I am here to walk alongside clients as they navigate mindsets that keep them stuck and to help them venture into understanding their own identity, and purpose.
After graduating from Missouri Baptist University with a degree in Religious Education I began working with youth. I saw the pressures youth faced and sought to encourage community and connection to truth to help them face these pressures. In the past 8 years I have begun to also work with adults and marriages. Realizing the great need for support when it comes to today’s family I decided to obtain my Master’s in Counseling, from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, so I would be better equipped in helping families and individuals thrive.
I love working with adults, marriages, and young adults. I enjoy helping my clients find a fresh perspective and realize the power that is available to them to exact change. There is hope for every individual and any relationship. I find it a privilege to work along side clients as they seek to heal broken areas in their own lives in order to invest them selves into the lives of others and the lives of their family.
I have a wonderful family of my own. My beautiful wife & daughter and three sons have made our home in Northern Michigan for over 20 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my kids play various sports. I also volunteer in marriage ministry at my local church.
